Experience
Leanne is a Clinical Psychologist with over twenty years of experience in both the NHS and private sector. She has worked across a wide range of services, including neuropsychology, child and adolescent mental health, and adult mental health.

Her roles have involved assessment, formulation, individual therapy, family work, group facilitation, and contributing to multidisciplinary teams. Leanne has supported people across the lifespan with a broad range of emotional, cognitive, behavioural, and relational difficulties.

Her background across diverse settings enables her to adapt her work to meet the needs of each client, whether they are seeking brief, focused intervention (around 6-12 sessions) or longer-term therapeutic support.

Working collaboratively and empathically is at the heart of Leanne’s practice. She supports clients to make sense of their difficulties, develop new perspectives, and work towards improved wellbeing and quality of life.

Leanne recognises that each person is unique, and that the ways we understand ourselves, others, and the world are shaped by our histories, fears, identities, and the strategies we have developed to feel safe. She is attentive to the influence of neurodiversity, culture, and lived experience, and works flexibly to ensure therapy is responsive to each person’s needs and context.
